That used to be the conversation around here too...until a couple of weeks ago when EVERYTHING became mama. The worst is when she calls the dog mama (in front of other people!) It could be worse :)

It is so nagging with the repeat...but you gotta love it....at least she is now home and you get to hear that sweet little voice!!! (mine still do that and they are 6,6,5,4,19,19) Have fun!!

Kristi -

What is up with that? My 5-year-old did the SAME thing for WEEKS when we first brought her home. It finally did stop, so take heart. It about drove me nuts, though. I still don't know what it was - the desire to communicate, and not knowing the language? Wanting confirmation that yes, indeed you are her mommy and you're not going anywhere? Who knows.

We are also doing the same thing! I LOVE being called momma, but sometimes I want to be called something else! :) Is Sydney growling at you? Caroline has become a growler...I think it's code for H*** NO!

Oh yeah - I can relate to that. I counted 87 "mamma"'s by noon the other morning. Sheri

UHmmmm, Bethany.......if sister girl does NOT want to do something, she'll do this:

Bunch up her eyebrows;
Pout her lips;
Bunch up her shoulders;
Looks sideways over one shoulder;
AND DOES THIS WHINEY LITTLE BITTY RAKE YOUR NAILS OVER THE CHALKBOARD "NO".......I'll take the growling!!!
