My fellow SEW'ers.......

I've pulled out the old sewing machine, dusted it off, re-threaded it, etc and now I want to sew. Anyone know of any free sites I can patterns from?? I'm a TOTAL beginner and don't pick up on things nearly as quickly as LouLou!! :-) So, any "tutorial" or beginner stuff would be great!!!!

We've been sewing too. An EASY project for you to do that your daughter would love is to make a little quilt for her babydoll. Just take random fabric squares, sew them together and sew on a back. I made a little one for DD's doll that matches the big one I made for her. I'm not a great sewer but the doll quilt is easy. I also did some doll cloths for her, we made pj's and pants... just took the doll cloths we had and used them as patterns. Are they perfect? No, but she totally loves them.

Happy sewing.

Yes...but it will take me a few to find them. Mostly from lurking on the Disboards.com under the family forum- disboutiquers first page has a link....LOL see, complicated.
