Luke did GREAT!!! We got to the hospital at 7am and they took him back for surgery at 9am. By 9:30 they were done and we got to a room around 10:15am. Doc said on a scale of 0-4, the tonsils were a 4 and the adnoids were a 2-3. His ear canal was flushed and cleaned but there was NO fluid in behind the eardrum. NO TUBES WERE NEEDED!!! Needless to say, we are glad that we had this procedure done.
After getting to our room, they continued to push fluids until about 5pm. Luke ate his fill of popsicles and jello!!! Doc came in and released us at 5:30pm and we were home by 6:30. Luke is dozing in and out on the couch ..... doing GREAT!!!

I'm so glad things went well! YAY! I have been thinking about your blogging slump, and I feel the same way. I think for me, it's lack of comments. No one comments, so I wonder if it's worth it.....know what I mean? Anyways, I always read yours even when I don't comment. Love ya!
Yea! I'm glad everything went well, and he's doing okay! Mia's fever spiked to 103 during that first night, but we called the doctor and he said just keep doing what we were doing (Tylenol). Her temp. dropped during the night, and after that we could hardly tell she had had anything done - except her voice was a bit squeaky for awhile :-).
I am glad that all went well and Luke is resting.
